Assistive Nursing Personnel

About the role

The Assistive Nursing Personnel will support the Emergency Services team at C‑Care Tamarin, ensuring high‑quality patient care, safety and proper drug handling. Reporting to the Head of Emergency Services, the role focuses on day‑to‑day assistance to the ward supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Take instructions from the ward supervisor and organise daily work activities.
• Keep the ward supervisor informed of any patient‑related issues.
• Answer patients' call bells promptly.
• Perform routine patient care tasks such as making beds, bathing patients and removing bedpans.
• Ensure safe custody and accurate administration of medications.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar nursing support role.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Capability to evaluate information for compliance with standards.
• Relevant SC & HCA qualifications or equivalent.

Required skills

• Safe handling and administration of drugs.
