Automation Expert (RPA)

About the role

The Automation Expert will design, develop and deliver Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that streamline business processes across Allianz Services. Working closely with stakeholders, analysts and process owners, you will translate business needs into efficient, maintainable automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements from process owners, subject‑matter experts and senior stakeholders.
• Assess feasibility of automation opportunities and build business cases.
• Design and configure non‑complex RPA solutions following established design principles.
• Support existing automated processes, manage change requests and ensure timely implementation.
• Coordinate testing activities, create test scenarios and verify regression impacts.
• Communicate proactively with business analysts, controllers and management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply continuous‑improvement techniques to identify new automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience in mapping and documenting business processes using Visio or similar tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with UiPath RPA platform.
• Proficiency in Visio for process mapping.
• Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Java) and familiarity with macros or formula development.
