About the role
The Business Development Executive supports the Business Development Unit (BDU) in achieving its targets by handling client due diligence, onboarding, and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with internal policies and Mauritian regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Source and follow up on leads, support client sign‑off and onboarding.
- Track and verify documents for KYC and onboarding, ensuring compliance sign‑off.
- Maintain compliance registers for new clients and monitor BDU leads, sales dashboards, and business introducers.
- Follow up on client invoicing, coordinate with Finance on payments and debtor queries.
- Assist in research, product development, and reporting for BDU.
- Support incorporation and licensing processes for global business structures.
- Execute ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Executive Committee and contribute to special projects.
Required profile
- Degree in Administration, Management, Law, Finance or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in the global business sector, preferably with special licence structures.
- Understanding of ROC and FSC applications and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical abilities and detail‑orientation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
