Compliance Executive

About the role

The Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that all client onboarding and transaction activities meet rigorous Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external parties to verify identities, assess risk, and maintain accurate compliance records.

Key responsibilities

• Apply effective CDD measures to applicants, principals, and related parties.
• Conduct World Checks, internet searches and screen against sanction lists.
• Verify information from certifiers, reference letters and banks, including follow‑up calls.
• Assemble research, compile data and prepare reports where appropriate.
• Prepare checklists, CDD trackers and update them with new documents.
• Respond to KYC/CDD queries and prepare risk committee minutes, agendas and resolutions.
• Follow internal KYC procedures and maintain accurate client file status.
• Flag suspicious transactions, conduct file reviews and ensure proper documentation.
• Liaise with administrators, other departments and relevant authorities.
• Complete RTG tasks promptly and perform any other cognate duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to grammar and proofreading.
• Organized, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a high‑pressure environment.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and self‑motivation.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
