Face-to-Face Fundraiser

About the role

As a face-to-face fundraiser you will be the public face of Greenpeace in Mauritius, engaging members of the public in meaningful conversations about environmental campaigns and inspiring them to become regular monthly supporters.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and engage the public in shopping centres, markets and community events across the island.
• Explain Greenpeace’s campaigns and encourage sign‑ups through direct‑debit monthly donations.
• Represent Greenpeace’s values and brand with passion and professionalism.
• Work towards individual and team sign‑up targets.
• Maintain accurate daily activity records and submit activity reports.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident speaking to strangers.
• Genuine passion for environmental and social causes.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven with a positive attitude.
• Fluency in English or French (Creole an advantage).
• Previous sales, fundraising or customer‑facing experience is a plus but not required.
