Health & Safety Officer

About the role

The Health & Safety Officer will protect the wellbeing of guests, residents and team members at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that all health and safety policies, procedures and statutory obligations are fully implemented and continuously improved within the luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tasks assigned by superiors while maintaining high standards of safety awareness.
• Promote teamwork, act as a role model and assist colleagues during busy periods.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions and actively participate in briefings and meetings.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and foster a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel’s code of conduct, grooming and hygiene standards.
• Regularly review, update and communicate health & safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Meet statutory obligations for health, safety and welfare, including training and reporting requirements.
• Conduct and regularly review risk assessments for all work equipment and operational areas.
