About the role
The Relationship Manager will oversee a portfolio of business customers, building long‑term partnerships through proactive support and targeted sales. You will drive business development, acquire new clients, and cross‑sell the full suite of corporate banking products.
Key responsibilities
- Spend at least 75% of time visiting customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with Trade Finance and Treasury specialists to maximise product sales.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide timely solutions.
- Identify and present the most suitable products to meet client needs.
- Prepare and file call reports and maintain the Customer Relationship Plan.
- Research and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining a target list.
- Ensure compliance with risk, KYC, and bank policies; keep account data up‑to‑date.
- Assist in preparing credit applications and attend relationship team meetings.
- Coach and develop corporate assistants, ensuring consistent service quality.
Required profile
- Degree holder (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience or 8 years of overall bank experience.
- Strong knowledge of branch‑based corporate products and services.
