Senior Automation Developer - Low Code

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer to design, develop and maintain low‑code applications that boost operational efficiency across Apex Group. Working on the Mendix platform, you will create scalable solutions, integrate them with internal systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Mendix applications following best‑practice standards.
• Build reusable components and integrate solutions with APIs, databases and other internal systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide BAU support, monitor performance, resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
• Coach team members, conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to governance and security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing enterprise‑grade applications on the Mendix low‑code platform.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and ability to work closely with product owners.
• Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills to convert business processes into automated solutions.
