Senior Consultant – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY Mauritius is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) CORE team. You will work at the centre of complex accounting, reporting and regulatory matters, helping leading organisations navigate change with clarity and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of technical accounting advice and client solutions on complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Contribute to accounting and regulatory change projects, interpreting requirements and implementing practical solutions.
• Stay current with industry developments, emerging issues and regulatory updates, bringing insight to every engagement.
• Assist in the execution of high‑impact advisory engagements and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in accounting or finance, combined with curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• ACCA / ACA / CA – part‑qualified or fully qualified.
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting advisory or finance transformation.
