Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join Apex Group’s fund administration team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate NAV packs and financial statements for private equity and hedge fund clients while supporting audit processes and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity and hedge funds on the required frequency.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual account and financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Execute transfer agency transactions as needed.
• Maintain overall client relationship, handling inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work extra hours when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
