Ship's Store Service Activities Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Ship's Store Service Activities Supervisor to manage retail, barber/beautician, and laundry services for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role serves as the primary liaison between the contractor and the Navy, ensuring compliance and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact between the Government and all service operations.
• Supervise daily retail sales, barber and beautician services, and laundry operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Navy regulations.
• Maintain accountability for Navy‑owned retail stock, oversee inventory control, conduct audits, and generate compliance reports.
• Coordinate procurement to sustain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Lead, schedule, and develop personnel across all service areas, fostering a professional, customer‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S.-accredited institution, preferably in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing a Navy supply system or a comparable large‑scale retail operation.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Navy policies and operational instructions related to retail, barber, beautician, and laundry services.
