Waiter – Italian Restaurant

About the role

Join the vibrant Italian restaurant at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort on Mauritius. As a Waiter you will deliver the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience in the restaurant, bar, lounge, or room‑service settings.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices, noting any special dietary requests.
• Process payments, issue receipts and return change accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee timely service.
• Serve dishes and drinks, pour wine tableside, and replenish utensils and glasses.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, reset tables, and assist with stock replenishment.
• Fill in for absent team members and act as a runner when required.
• Observe guest satisfaction and respond promptly to additional requests.

Required profile

• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques.
• Consistent adherence to grooming and appearance standards.
• Ability to communicate product knowledge and resort services to guests.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
