Waiter – Restaurant/Bar Service at Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort on a private peninsula in Mauritius. As a Waiter you will deliver the highest standards of service in the restaurant, bar, lounge and, when required, room service areas, ensuring every guest experience is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems, noting any special dietary requests.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, upsell where appropriate, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth service flow.
• Handle payments, issue receipts and return change accurately.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks, reset tables, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Open and pour wine tableside and assist with basic cooking preparations when needed.
• Fill in for absent staff and assume runner duties as directed by the supervisor.
