Waiter / Waitress – Guest Service at Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a premier resort in Mauritius, as a Waiter/Waitress. You will deliver exceptional food and beverage service across the restaurant, bar, lounge and, when required, room service, ensuring every guest experiences the brand’s signature warmth and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices, noting any special dietary requests.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, upsell items, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth service flow.
• Perform basic table setting, clearing, and resetting for the next guests.
• Open and pour wine tableside following proper etiquette.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and assist with stock replenishment.
• Fill in for absent team members and assume runner duties when directed.

Required profile

• Friendly, attentive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to assist guests with any queries.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical service demands.
