Associate Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Manager to lead a sub‑team within our Global Business Sector, delivering high‑quality fund administration services to our clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operational activities of the sub‑team and provide regular updates to the Unit Head.
• Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, of high quality and meet statutory requirements.
• Develop deep understanding of client needs and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee and review team work, ensuring timely completion and risk‑minimised processes.
• Review NAV calculations, management fee, waterfall, preferred return, equalisation and carried interest calculations.
• Process capital calls, distributions, capital account statements and holdings statements.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements and tax computations, and deliver statutory accounts.
• Liaise with auditors during statutory audits.
• Process invoices, bank transfers and coordinate with banks for settlements.
• File annual, APS, PAYE, TDS, VAT and Indian tax returns within statutory deadlines.
• Mentor and coach team members and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in fund administration, the Global Business Sector or an audit firm.
• Relevant university degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business).
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, regulatory reporting and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead a team.
