Bar Supervisor – Boutique Beachfront Hotel

About the role

Constance Sakoa Boutik, an intimate beachfront boutique hotel in northern Mauritius, is looking for a Bar Supervisor to lead its bar team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional service and anticipate their beverage needs.
• Oversee the daily running of the bar, ensuring all drinks are prepared and presented to resort standards.
• Manage mise‑en‑place, stock rotation, inventory control and cleanliness of the bar area.
• Supervise, motivate and train bar staff to maintain high service quality.
• Monitor beverage costs, report discrepancies and contribute to cost‑control initiatives.
• Enforce hygiene, safety and equipment maintenance standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, daily reporting and coordination of bar requisitions.

Required profile

• School Certificate (SC) or equivalent.
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Bar Operations.
• 1–3 years of bar or restaurant service experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or resort.

Required skills

• Mixology and extensive beverage knowledge.
• Inventory management and cost control.
• Computer literacy for scheduling and reporting.
