Client Accountant - Business Services

About the role

The Client Accountant will support a Senior Client Accountant in delivering bookkeeping, financial reporting and audit liaison for a portfolio of Irish incorporated SPVs. Working within Apex Group’s Business Services team, you will ensure accurate management accounts and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and annual reports in line with IFRS, Companies Act and relevant GAAP.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual management accounts for assigned entities.
• Provide day‑to‑day financial reporting services, maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities on accounting matters.
• Communicate audit and accounting updates to clients and keep records systematically organized.
• Manage a portfolio of entities, taking ownership of deadlines and deliverables.
• Assist with ad‑hoc assignments and explore opportunities for additional responsibilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS, Companies Act and other GAAP standards.
• Experience in bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts.
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and audit liaison.
