Cost Controller (Food & Beverage)

About the role

The Cost Controller will act as the bridge between the Food & Beverage department and Finance, ensuring accurate cost reporting and supporting profitability across the resort. This onsite position is based at Four Seasons Mauritius, a luxury resort with villas, restaurants, a spa, and extensive leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and month‑to‑date Food & Beverage cost reports, including cafeteria data.
• Monitor all food and beverage controls to ensure compliance with Four Seasons policies and procedures.
• Assist with operating equipment inventory counts and drive beverage inventory counts.
• Ensure accurate food & beverage transfers and returns in the Birchstreet system.
• Track supplier returns and manage purchase orders to guarantee timely receipt and avoid discrepancies.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or hospitality management.
• Experience in cost control or financial analysis within a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work closely with both Food & Beverage and Finance teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Birchstreet inventory and cost management software.
