CSR Manager – Lead Sustainable Initiatives

About the role

The CSR Manager will shape and execute MCB Group’s corporate social responsibility strategy through the MCB Forward Foundation. You will ensure that programmes deliver measurable social impact, align with the Group’s purpose, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic direction of CSR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Group’s purpose and measurable outcomes.
• Build and manage partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, private sector partners and community organisations to co‑design high‑impact programmes.
• Oversee the CSR operating budget (minimum MUR 50 million), allocating human, logistical and financial resources with rigor and ethical governance.
• Develop and monitor impact metrics and financial indicators, assess programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion CSR visibility internally and externally, collaborating with communication and digital marketing teams to reinforce brand values.
• Lead, empower and develop the CSR team, fostering a high‑performance culture and ensuring delivery standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sustainability, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in CSR, community development, social impact or a related discipline.
• Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, accountability, persuasive communication and adaptive decision‑making.
