About the role
The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping and laundry teams at a five‑star resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through immaculate rooms and public areas. You will plan daily operations, coach staff, and uphold the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and service.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily housekeeping work to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Coach, train, and develop team members, setting performance goals and recognizing achievements.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
- Handle special guest requests, VIP needs, and lost‑and‑found items.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and support green initiatives such as recycling and eco‑friendly cleaning agents.
- Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and support staff during peak periods.
- Prepare and monitor the department’s budget, focusing on cost control and profitability.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of housekeeping/laundry experience in a five‑star resort, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
