F&B Assistant (Waiter/Waitress)

About the role

The F&B Assistant supports the restaurant team by ensuring smooth service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering a high‑standard guest experience. You will work closely with the Chef de Rang and other staff to prepare the dining area, serve meals, and handle billing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean mise en place, including table settings and buffet displays.
• Transport food and beverages from the kitchen/bar to the service area professionally.
• Serve guests according to established standards, answer menu queries, and promote additional drinks.
• Collect and clear used dishes, manage silverware polishing requests, and keep service stations tidy.
• Take guest orders, input them into the Touche POS system, and process bills and payments.
• Assist the Chef de Rang and step in as lead when required.
• Maintain grooming standards and use English and French appropriately in guest areas.
• Report safety hazards and adhere to health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, open‑minded, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Good command of English and French for guest interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Attention to detail and strong personal grooming.

Required skills

• Operation of the Touche point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Basic cash handling and billing procedures.
