Finance Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Intern to join the Finance team at our luxury resort in Mauritius. This role offers a hands‑on introduction to hotel finance operations, supporting daily tasks while gaining exposure to guest‑related financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues across all departments.
• Assist the Finance office with ad‑hoc tasks and ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ work rules.
• Print, prepare and mail statements for outstanding credit/loan accounts twice weekly.
• Respond to guest and credit‑card inquiries, preparing adjustments when required.
• Prepare and organise accurate records for all outstanding accounts under the direction of the Credit Manager.
• Review, verify and audit Travel Agent payments, confirming valid IATA numbers before processing.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Professional demeanor and willingness to uphold high standards of conduct.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests, credit‑card companies and internal teams.
• Interest in hospitality finance and willingness to learn.
