Head of Contract Management & Delivery Excellence (Medical Services)

About the role

The Head of Contract Management & Delivery Excellence leads regional contract governance for medical services, ensuring contracts are executed efficiently and service delivery meets performance standards. The role acts as the central point for interpreting contractual requirements, monitoring profitability, and driving continuous improvement across all active agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the regional focal point for contract governance, overseeing profitability, billing accuracy, performance, and compliance.
• Support business units in implementing and managing commercial contracts through standardized processes.
• Coordinate with finance, HR, operations, and client success teams to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities.
• Translate contract scope into executable action plans, securing client sign‑off and ensuring all terms, conditions, and documentation are adhered to.
• Work with finance to optimise Contractual Invoice Time (CIT) and collection rates, and to monitor actual versus forecasted profitability.
• Support site mobilisation and demobilisation activities, ensuring compliance with QMS standards.
• Review end‑to‑end processes and champion improvement initiatives.
• Develop and disseminate regional best practices and drive adoption of the Oryx Suite system.

Required profile

• Proven track record in contract management, delivery governance, and operational compliance.
• Experience with government contracts or public tender management is a strong plus.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate contractual obligations into operational plans.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive analyst who creates checklists and quality‑assurance techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships at all organisational levels.
• Effective planner and organiser, capable of setting realistic goals and monitoring progress.
