Manager – Accounting Reporting Assurance (IFRS)

About the role

The Technical IFRS Manager (Senior) leads the interpretation and application of International Financial Reporting Standards across the organisation. The role ensures that all financial reporting complies with IFRS and provides expert guidance to business units, finance teams and senior management on complex accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply IFRS standards, focusing on complex and judgmental areas.
• Support finance and business teams in resolving technical accounting issues.
• Review and validate financial statements to ensure IFRS compliance.
• Provide training and guidance on IFRS to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional certification.
• 6‑8+ years of accounting or audit experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, especially in complex areas.
• Strong analytical, judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
