Regulatory Affairs Manager

About the role

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will support the Head of Regulatory Affairs in overseeing all regulatory matters for the bank. This position ensures that licensing, filings, certifications and permits are processed accurately and on time, while monitoring changes in laws and regulations that affect products, operations and testing requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and align company policies and procedures accordingly.
• Assist the Head of Regulatory Affairs in internal committees addressing legal and regulatory updates.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures reflecting current regulatory requirements.
• Oversee preparation and timely submission of regulatory documents to authorities.
• Implement monitoring systems, conduct audits and prepare regular compliance reports for senior management.
• Analyze compliance data to identify trends, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, operations and IT departments to ensure a unified compliance approach.
• Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on regulatory impacts.
• Investigate and resolve reported non‑compliance issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of licensing, certification and permit processes.
• Ability to anticipate and interpret regulatory changes.
• Excellent coordination skills to work across multiple internal departments.
• Effective communication with external regulators and industry bodies.
