Senior Financial Analyst – Investment Fund Risk & Analytics

About the role

You will join Deloitte International Services' Fund Analytics team, supporting investment‑management clients with data management, risk, performance and cost analytics across liquid and alternative funds in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data‑management projects related to risk, performance and cost measurement techniques.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency and robustness of calculations such as transaction and recurring cost metrics.
• Interpret results, investigate anomalies and provide clear explanations and recommendations.
• Utilise Deloitte’s proprietary analytics platform and modern technologies for efficient data handling and analysis.
• Produce complex cost analytics for UCITS, PRIIPs and MiFID regulatory reporting.
• Support operational processes for investment funds distributed throughout Europe.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment fund analytics, data management or performance measurement, preferably with EU regulatory reporting exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to work under recurring deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English (French or German a plus).
• Adaptable, organized and comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data manipulation.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation.
• Familiarity with query tools or SQL for data extraction.
