Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join Apex Group’s hedge‑fund accounting team. You will be responsible for preparing NAVs, reconciling cash and positions, and ensuring accurate reporting for our fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly NAVs for hedge‑fund clients.
• Perform cash, position and market‑value reconciliations, resolve breaks and communicate with clients or CSMs.
• Review portfolio pricing, corporate actions and ensure correct booking in the accounting system.
• Reconcile dividends and interest with broker reports.
• Accrue and amortise management fees, financing fees and other non‑security related fees.
• Process non‑automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Book capital activities and support audit preparation and financial‑statement reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as securities, pricing, reporting, investor services, auditors and client service managers.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in fund administration.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software (specific systems not listed).
