Strategic Business Partner

About the role

The Strategic Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, translating business strategy into people priorities and driving organisational performance. You will help build a high‑performing workforce by strengthening leadership capability, organisational readiness and sustainable value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to understand business priorities, translate them into workforce plans and use data‑driven insights to influence decisions.
• Coach and challenge leaders on accountability, performance and talent development, reinforcing SD Worx Guiding Principles.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design and capability development initiatives, identifying future skill needs.
• Leverage analytics, digital tools, automation and AI to simplify processes, improve People function effectiveness and deliver consistent outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HR, Business Partnering, Organisational Development or a comparable strategic People role.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
