Claims Handler – Health Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a professional Claims Handler to support health insurance operations, focusing on the assessment and processing of claims. The role requires accurate data handling, strong customer focus, and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client service requests using prescribed techniques and knowledge.
• Review and appraise claims documentation to evaluate risks.
• Determine admissibility and eligibility of claims according to contractual obligations.
• Liaise with service providers regarding benefit eligibility when required.
• Ensure strict adherence to administrative and compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in claims handling or a related field.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to high service standards.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Positive attitude, team player, and good interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
