Databricks Data Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Databricks Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to enable data‑driven decision making across its client portfolio. You will translate business needs into reliable datasets, dashboards, and analytical insights, working closely with stakeholders, digital teams, data engineers, and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, clarify, and formalize reporting and analytics requirements.
• Explore and assess data from both technical and functional perspectives to identify insights, quality gaps, and transformation needs.
• Use Databricks to access, analyze, prepare, and transform datasets for reporting and analytical use cases.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimise Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and visualisations.
• Develop Power Query transformations and support data‑preparation activities for BI solutions.
• Define data objects, attributes, quality rules, and functional mappings between source data and reporting outputs.
• Contribute to conceptual and technical data modelling for BI and analytics scenarios.
• Participate in Agile backlog definition, prioritisation, delivery tracking, testing, validation, user acceptance, documentation, and move‑to‑run activities.
• Provide technical assistance to project teams and business users while ensuring solutions meet governance and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Analytics Consultant or a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with hands‑on experience in Databricks and Power BI environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in an Agile setting.
• Proficiency in French is desirable.

Required skills

• Databricks SQL, notebooks, and lakehouse environments.
• Power BI, Power Query, and Power Platform (including Power Apps).
• Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and broader Azure cloud services.
• SQL analytics and data transformation skills.
• Python or PySpark for data analysis (plus).
• Knowledge of data governance, GDPR compliance, and documentation standards.
