Information System (IS) Manager

About the role

Sun Limited is seeking an experienced Information System (IS) Manager to lead its Head Office IT team, drive strategic projects, and ensure reliable service delivery across all business units and data centre locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable IT operations for Head Office, Business Units and Data Centre, handling end‑user support and L3 escalations.
• Manage user lifecycle and access controls across core systems such as AD, Microsoft 365, Opera, Simphony and Oracle EBS.
• Define, enforce and continuously improve IT policies, standards and service‑desk processes.
• Own the infrastructure roadmap (on‑prem, Data Centre, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and lead cloud, security and backup initiatives.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 security, endpoint protection and network/cyber‑security tool deployment.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Manage IT OPEX & CAPEX budgets, assets, vendor relationships and SLA compliance.
• Conduct system and access reviews to ensure governance and ISO‑27001 compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team’s performance and engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 7–10 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in multi‑site environments; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 administration.
• SCCM, Intune, endpoint protection and backup solutions (Veeam).
• Infrastructure and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, storage).
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Security and governance frameworks (ISO 27001, EDR, PAM).
• Hospitality systems: Opera, Simphony, Oracle EBS, TNG Spa or equivalents.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, ITIL) are advantageous.
