IT Coordinator – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The IT Coordinator will maintain and optimise the hotel’s information technology and telecommunications systems, ensuring reliable performance for both staff and guests. This role combines technical, administrative and support duties to keep all computer, network and telephony services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade and support PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications and peripherals such as printers.
• Provide expertise during system upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.
• Communicate regularly with executive management and all end‑users, following standard operating procedures and documenting protocols.
• Oversee end‑user services including help‑desk and technical support, ensuring timely troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration.
• Develop and implement IT SOPs, policies and procedures covering architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
• Manage workstation endpoints, security solutions, network hardware, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Maintain licences, upgrade schedules and backup activities, and keep IT inventory and SLA records up to date.
• Provide remote assistance to support the work‑from‑home model for staff and guests.

Required profile

• Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an IT Officer in a luxury hotel environment.
• CCNA certification is a strong advantage.
