About the role
The Learning & Development Assistant will support the Group’s L&D initiatives by handling administrative and logistical tasks. You will help organise training sessions, maintain learning records and act as a first‑line contact for employees and trainers. This role contributes to a smooth learning operation across BIA’s locations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions, including logistics, invitations, materials and room bookings.
- Maintain and update training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and monitor completion status.
- Promote learning opportunities via email, posters and intranet announcements.
- Collect and compile feedback from participants and facilitators.
- Prepare standard reports on L&D activities and support purchase requests and invoice monitoring.
- Upload training content to the LMS and assist employees with registration queries.
- Support HRDC reimbursement processes and onboarding training sessions.
- Maintain documentation, archive learning materials and liaise with trainers and providers.
Required profile
- Degree holder in Human Resources (mandatory).
- 1‑2 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to Learning & Development.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Familiarity with an ERP platform (advantage).
