Learning & Development Executive

About the role

Sunlife is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Executive to join the Ambre Resort team in Mauritius. You will lead daily L&D operations, foster a strong learning culture, and ensure that all hotel departments have access to high‑quality training and development resources.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver engaging training programmes for hotel staff.
• Lead onboarding initiatives and continuous learning pathways.
• Oversee post‑training evaluation, analyse results and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage training administration, reporting and metric tracking.
• Execute L&D projects using a structured project‑management approach.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to promote a high‑performance, learning‑oriented culture.
• Provide regular insights and reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Tourism Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in L&D or hospitality operations.
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools for learning delivery and planning.
• Ability to interpret training metrics and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Team player with excellent planning, communication and organisational skills.
