Operations Manager – Shopping Mall

About the role

The Operations Manager will ensure the smooth, safe and customer‑focused day‑to‑day running of Constance Group’s new shopping mall in the East of Mauritius. You will lead a range of outsourced service providers and work closely with tenants, senior management and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the mall and common areas, including cleaning, security, maintenance and other outsourced services.
• Ensure building systems and facilities operate efficiently and comply with health, safety and emergency procedures.
• Support tenants with operational matters and enforce mall regulations.
• Coordinate operational requirements for events, peak trading periods and special activities.
• Monitor operational budgets, service levels and contractor performance, preparing regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Facilities, Property or Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in shopping malls, commercial property, hospitality or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience managing contractors and operational budgets.
• Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and building operations.
