Order Taker

About the role

Join Constance Belle Mare Plage, a leading luxury resort in Mauritius, as an Order Taker. You will be the first point of contact for guests ordering food, beverages, and special services, ensuring every request is handled with precision and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Take and process guest orders following Room Service standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, special offers, and promotions.
• Verify cleanliness and presentation of all items before delivery.
• Ensure the Room Service area remains tidy and well‑stocked.
• Provide courteous service to all guests, including VIPs.
• Handle payment processing and keep accurate records of sales.
• Assist with set‑up of bars for VIP guests as required.
• Comply with all safety, hygiene, and health policies.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional hospitality training or certificates are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel or luxury resort environment.
• Experience in remote island locations is advantageous.
• Fluent written and verbal English; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Strong customer‑service knowledge.
• Good understanding of beverage products and services.
