Room Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team at our Four Seasons resort in Mauritius. The role involves preparing guest rooms to the brand’s luxury standards and ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms to Four Seasons standards.
• Manage linen and laundry processes: sort, tag, and store guest laundry, uniforms and hotel linen.
• Stock and replenish room supplies, maintain the linen closet, and ensure all housekeeping equipment is clean and functional.
• Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Handle guest and internal calls, coordinate with other departments, and respect DND and service timing procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in the housekeeping department of a 5‑star resort or hotel.
• Technical education in hospitality management is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and French.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures.
• Safe handling and operation of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals.
