Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

Zoomlion is looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join its Heavy Equipment division in Mauritius. You will promote a range of agriculture, construction and mining machinery and build lasting relationships with customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets, pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for various product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and on‑site visits to showcase equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Record all activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, new products and market trends to address customer needs.
• Prepare weekly reports for the line manager.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum matriculation (Grade 12); tertiary education is a plus.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in heavy equipment or related machinery.
• Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of construction or mining equipment sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Own a reliable vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.
