SAP ABAP Developer

About the role

Accenture is looking for a SAP ABAP Developer based in Mauritius. You will join a growing SAP team, work directly with clients and help translate their needs into valuable SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new applications on the SAP platform using ABAP.
• Fix bugs and maintain existing code to ensure stability.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to deliver project goals.
• Document software configurations, troubleshooting steps, and technical details.
• Follow detailed instructions for daily tasks and new assignments.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Computing or related IT field.
• Good communication skills in French and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to client projects.
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems creatively.

Required skills

• SAP ABAP programming (training provided).
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C++, C# or Python.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• SQL knowledge for databases like MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic database manipulation skills.
