Senior Audit Associate – External Audit

About the role

Join EY RDS as a Senior Audit Associate within the External Audit team. You will help clients meet their reporting requirements by delivering objective, independent examinations of financial statements and providing insightful advice to management and audit committees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork, manage performance, coach and mentor junior team members, and keep engagement leaders informed.
• Oversee audit processes, addressing audit risk and complex accounting matters such as revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
• Engage with clients, offering professional advice, identifying improvement opportunities, and fostering strong relationships.
• Stay current on market trends, share knowledge with colleagues, and refer clients to other EY teams when appropriate.
