Senior Automation Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated test solutions for our software applications. You will work closely with QA leadership, product owners, developers, and DevOps to ensure high‑quality releases throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage end‑to‑end testing activities and ensure release readiness.
• Define testing strategies, quality objectives, and automation road‑maps with cross‑functional teams.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable automation frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity and exploratory testing.
• Implement automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Katalon Studio, Tricentis Tosca, or UFT.
• Apply Page Object Model and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) patterns, and leverage AI‑powered/self‑healing capabilities.
• Perform API, web services, desktop and web application testing.
• Track defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and support resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and report QA metrics.
• Mentor junior QA members and champion automation best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.
