Senior Corporate Accountant – Fund Administration

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its fund administration team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, statutory financial statements and tax computations for our clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc management accounts after completing bookkeeping in the accounting software.
• Compile annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for audit and statutory filing.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
• Calculate tax liabilities in line with Mauritius Income Tax Laws and prepare related filings.
• Maintain and develop client relationships through regular communication, inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of professional accounting experience.
• ACC​A qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, hard‑working attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting/ bookkeeping software.
