Senior Java Software Developer

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Java Software Developer to join a fast‑growing, innovative team. You will help design, build, and enhance a scalable SaaS enterprise platform that powers global workforce management.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new products, features, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, product managers, and technical writers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code‑review sessions to ensure high‑quality deliveries.
• Maintain and improve performance of full‑stack applications, applying design patterns and best practices.
• Participate in the complete software lifecycle: analysis, design, prototyping, coding, testing, and support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Java (8+) and the Spring Framework.
• 4+ years of experience with T‑SQL and relational database systems.
• Strong knowledge of unit‑testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test.
• Proficiency in building RESTful services.
• Hands‑on experience with design patterns, multi‑threaded programming, dependency injection, and database design.
• Self‑starter able to work independently and within an Agile team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
