Senior Manual Test Engineer (AI-Augmented)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manual Test Engineer to lead high‑quality testing initiatives across web, mobile and desktop applications. You will combine traditional manual testing expertise with AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity, coverage and overall quality engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory and UAT) for web, mobile and desktop solutions.
• Analyse requirements, create test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases and execution reports.
• Participate in 3 Amigos sessions and apply Risk‑Based Testing to prioritise quality risks.
• Perform API testing using Postman (REST validation) and validate data with SQL queries.
• Log, track and verify defects in Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Leverage AI‑assisted testing tools for requirements analysis, test design and overall QA efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on manual software testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life‑cycle and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Proven experience with functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory and UAT testing.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
