Senior Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for a diverse portfolio of client applications across banking, insurance, natural resources, and high‑tech sectors. The role focuses on improving test coverage, efficiency, and quality through modern automation frameworks and AI‑assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium, Katalon Studio, or similar technologies.
• Identify and automate functional, regression, integration, and API test cases.
• Apply the Page Object Model and automation best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable test solutions.
• Perform API and web‑services testing with tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track issues using Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of QA and automation practices.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to enhance test creation, automation development, and overall QA productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in test automation or a comparable QA automation role.
• Strong understanding of software testing and development processes.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
