Service Consultant – HCM Implementation

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Service Consultant to lead the onboarding of new clients and support upgrades for existing customers on its Cloud HCM platform. You will work within project teams to translate business needs into system configurations and ensure successful, high‑quality implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business process requirements into Dayforce configuration specifications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to deliver implementations on schedule.
• Conduct client interviews, perform gap analyses, and prepare clients for go‑live payroll.
• Design, execute, and document system integration and user‑acceptance tests.
• Validate back‑end changes, credentials, and billing setups to guarantee implementation quality.
• Provide hands‑on training, resolve project issues, and facilitate smooth hand‑over to support teams.
• Contribute to project planning and ensure client expectations are exceeded.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS platforms (preferred).
• Exposure to basic project‑management principles.
• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
• Experience with SaaS/Cloud software and HRIS implementations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL and XML.
• Hands‑on experience with applications such as Salesforce, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll.
