Associate Manager – Private Equity – Assistant Vice President

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a sub‑team within the Private Equity Administration Services department, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of sub‑team deliverables, including resource allocation and activity oversight.
• Monitor and review team work, providing regular updates to managers.
• Identify operational risks, prescribe mitigation actions and escalate when necessary.
• Perform customer due diligence (CDD) in line with AML requirements and maintain updated records.
• Attend client meetings and represent the team internally and externally as required.
• Oversee banking transactions to ensure they fall within the company’s scope.
• Review board packs, shareholder resolutions, and certificates of standing.
• Handle restructures, mergers, re‑domiciliations, transfers and wind‑ups of companies.
• Maintain client relationships, ensuring service standards and deadlines are met.
• Conduct performance appraisals and coach team members.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or an audit firm.
• University degree from a recognised institution; undertaking ACCA or ACA studies is advantageous.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
