Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager will join Blablabla Agency’s creative team in Curepipe to build, engage, and nurture online communities across multiple social platforms. Working on‑site, you will ensure the brand voice remains authentic while supporting the agency’s campaigns and strategic initiatives. This full‑time position combines community moderation, content planning, and data‑driven insight gathering.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and relevant forums.
• Moderate discussions, manage feedback and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with creative, account and strategy teams to support content calendars, campaign activations and brand storytelling.
• Gather community insights and trends to inform marketing strategies and content creation.
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports and recommend improvements to boost engagement and loyalty.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing online communities across several social media channels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable tone for different audiences.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple conversations and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Curious mindset with interest in culture, trends and online community behaviour.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or equivalent practical experience.
