Financial Controller

About the role

Rank Interactive, the digital arm of The Rank Group, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, controls and performance management across its global digital gaming business. Reporting to the Head of Finance – Shared Services, you will act as a senior finance partner to senior leadership and help shape the financial strategy of the Interactive division.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain strong financial controls, balance‑sheet integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead performance reviews, variance analysis and provide insight into revenue, cost drivers and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and deliver financial models for strategic decisions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial guidance for commercial initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Manage, develop and mentor the finance team, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk and audit frameworks, identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, control environments and performance analysis within a fast‑moving, multi‑entity organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders with data‑driven insights.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and evolve the finance function towards a strategic partner role.
