Fund Accountant – Hedge Fund NAV & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team in Trianon, Mauritius. You will be responsible for NAV reporting and financial statement preparation for hedge fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for hedge funds as required by clients.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts/financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Participate in Transfer Agency transactions when needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handle inquiries and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of accounting experience (fund industry experience advantageous).
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is a plus.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities, willing to work extra hours.
• Good interpersonal communication and a team‑player attitude.
